Raleigh Today

Sorry. I stayed up a little late watching Michael Jackson's memorial.
I was watching SIX kids during the day, so I didn't get to sit and watch it.
Very sad day.
We went shopping at Target yesterday for snacks to take to North Carolina, and we got some underwear and socks, since everyone seemed to forget to bring underthings! Well, not everyone. Ellie didn't forget. And I didn't forget. Okay, just boys people.
When we got back, some neighbor kids up the street were filling up water balloons, and at first, they were nice and invited the kids up to help them get each other.
It soon turned into a water balloon fight between them and us, but whatev!
They were a lot bigger, but everyone managed to get soaked.
It was hot yesterday, so they had fun.
Later, the kids caught Fireflies to put into jars. Once you get over ten of the little critters it is hard to keep them in the jar because they crawl out when you open it, but the kids had fun.
Then, it was shower time and FIREWORKS!
Laurie's new/old neighbors came over and watched the show as well. She has the nicest friends and neighbors.
As for the firewors, Okay, we aren't in NH anymore, but I got some really good deals on some age-appropriate ones, and the kids had fun. They were buy ONE get TWO free! They didn't have a lot left, but I got what was necessary! I will try to post some pics!
Leaving for Raleigh in about an hour.
Nicole and Lindsay left for their dad's house pretty early today. They are leaving for vacation with him. You could tell they wanted to stay and play more with cousins, and they didn't really want to go, but I hope they have a good time with him.
P.S. Laurie said she is going to bed right when she gets home from work today.
