I am sorry that we got behind again, but there was not a lot of time in Alabama to blog!
We got to Alabama a little later than I had planned. We left Charlotte kind of late, but when we got there, Lori had a nice COLD BEER for me, so all was good.
We arrived at 4:30 or so on Saturday.
We re-introduced Ryan and Bailey, who are 6 days apart, and have only met once.
Ethan and Eric are also the same age, sort of. Eric is going to be 7 in August, but Ethan turned 7 in April.
Aunt Lori taught the kids all sorts of tailgating games (sans alcohol) and they played while we chatted and caught up.
It has been 8 years since we had seen each other.
We sat on her cute porch that Todd did a LOT of work on. It is nice and screened, and has fans above. It has three tables out there, like a little pub!
I loved Lori and Todd's house, and really appreciated all of the work they have put into it. Todd has done a lot of great stuff to it!
They live up on a mountain, so it was long and windy and fun to drive up.
Lori and I pulled a "Laurie and Holly" and stayed up until 1:37 CST having a few beers and talking. It was great to get to know her better.
It was also nice to hear that Brad wasn't awful to her like he was to his Laurie. :)
